Spotlight On Stupidity

Ever notice that when oil prices go up they go up fast. Like everyday. In one month they can go up a dollar.. The news always tell us that the recent runup of prices were caused by this or that. or Middle East unrest.. [When is there never unrest].. So you get all of these reasons.. So why then do they always stop right at the point where the people are about ready to change their driving habits or about the time gasoline consumption goes down.. It’s just the oil companies trying to find out how high they can go.. If it really was about all those reasons why doesn’t oil go up to 7 dollars a gallon, and why does it go up so fast then it just stops? Did all those reasons just stop? Did unrest become rest all of a sudden? Did all of a sudden we find a billion gallons of oil we didn’t know we had? I want to hear more about the reasons the oil prices STOPPED GOING UP. That would be more interesting..

Ever since the gulf war cnn and all these 24 hour news channels found out that if they run a scroll or a banner at the bottom of the screen that says something like ” breaking news” or “ALERT” or “NEWS FLASH” people would watch more and ratings would go up.. the problem with that is most of the time the big news is nothing at all.. it’s a trick.

I get caught up in that.. I see a tv on at the gym says “breaking news” in big red letters I stop and think wow what is happening. then I find out the big news is the sun is going to come up in the morning or the sun is going down at night wow wow thanks for letting me know that..

When something really is a big story like the earthquake in Japan or the resulting Tsunami at least for a day they can really talk about something important.. That is until they turn a big story that has run it’s course into a ratings thing and making it last about a month..

Ok earthquake Japan.. ok Tsunami ok loss of life ok property damage ok NEXT ..

earthquakes disasters Tsunami death destruction has happened for millions of years.. thanks for letting me know about what is going on in the world.., nothing i can do about it.. so next story please. oh yeah next story is the sun is coming up in the morning.. until the next REAL STORY comes around

it’s hell filling up 24hour news channels isn’t it..

Well just like anything else that comes around on a regular basis , taxes, christmas, olympics, world cut etc.. the oil prices increase come up about every three or four years.. Yeah Yeah they say it’s because of this or that.. the same excuses increase demand or because of unrest in the middle east.. (wow when is there not unrest) but in truth it’s just an attempt to see how much they can increase price before the consumer changes their habits or stop driving or buy scooters.. In economics it’s called price elasticity… How much can you charge for a movie ticket before it’s so expensive you can’t make any money… If you charge a million dollars for a movie ticket will even one person buy that ticket??

They try to see where that price point is.. they go way high then they lower it back down.. we all are thankful to them for bringing it back down to under 4 dollars but they try to brainwash us into thinking “thank god it’s only 3.65 that’s a lot better.. What we forget is that 2 weeks ago it was 2.65..

Hey if I stick a big nail in your hand for a week then i replace it with a tack your going to be damm thankful for that.. but in reality you should be asking what the fuck is a tack doing in my hand?

Well let’s see like the olympics or the world cup or anything that comes around on a regular basis here comes the oil companies once every 3 or 4 years try to see how high they can get the oil prices before

Can’t believe it has almost been a year since my last post.. Well I told you I was going to only post when I felt like it.. This is not a money making or ego proposition it is only when I feel the urge.. However I do feel the urge now to devote more time to this.. Stupidity never stops.. it needs to be pointed out..

Stupidity is not really being stupid.. Emotion is what makes you do stupid things.. I do believe Einstein was right with his theory only 10 percent of the brain is used.. The rest is used for useless crap.. The more you see how useless most things are. The more you will see things clearly and the so called smarter you will be..

AHHH YES another  great tragedy.. We haven’t had one since the big Tsunami i think. Unless I missed one. Another opportunity for people to show how much they care.. Another opportunity for concerts to say .. fill in the blank.. Another chance for two former presidents do get on tv to say please help.. Another chance for every corporation to say we will donate so much with every purchase..

You know it is a great tragedy.. Read my past posts.. There will always be fires in the woods, there will always be hurricanes and earthquakes, there will always be tragedies WE KNOW THAT .. In face scientists or whoever experts out there KNOW where the chances of the next tragedy will happen..

WE ALREADY KNEW that if a earthquake hits a poor are like HATI this would happen.. WE ALREADY KNEW that if a hurricane hit NEW ORLEANS that most likely that would happen..

WE PUT GAS IN OUR CARS BEFORE WE RUN OUT OF GAS..

IF WE REALLY CARED REALLY CARE AS MUCH AS WE THINK OR SAY WE DO..

WHY DONT WE RAISE MONEY HAVE CONCERTS BLAH BLAH TO PREVENT TRAGEDIES FROM HAPPENING OR IF THATS NOT POSSIBLE THEN WHY DON’T WE DO THINGS TO HELP BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS..

That’s what the red cross organizations like that are for..

As I said in an earlier post about airline crashes.  You get one big one then all of a sudden you hear about a bunch of them.  Well the media has to make money they have to make ratings. They always have to have something to talk about. The election, the Inauguration, the Hurricane season. Take a sample of what is on any given night and you will see what they think you want to hear for the next few weeks or months.

Is the economy bad?  Maybe. The media makes it worse. Just like the airplane accidents every news item is about job losses, or earnings down or stocks down or anything financial that is bad. You cannot have something go up for ever.. You cannot have a new record mile every year. You cannot have new record profits every year. It’s up’s and down’s.

The media feeds on your fears and insecurities and your stupidity. They know you love to hear stories the make you worried and unhappy. THERE IS NO BAD ECONOMY FOR THE MEDIA.. they are making tons of money over the story of bad economy…

I don’t see it. I still see the most expensive steak house in town full. I still see the golf courses full. I still see everything the same. So  maybe just maybe just like high prices for oil it’s kinda fabricated to MAKE MONEY.

This of course only works on stupid people. I never watch the news for longer the five minutes. I can already tell you what they are saying and how they are saying it. It’s a load of crap people. Quit watching American Idol, quit watching reality shows that aren’t reality, quit hyping up football games like if it was the 911 disaster. Quit being stupid..

This world is going to be divided into two groups the stupid people and the people that take advantage of the stupid people.. Which means that both groups are in reality stupid. Be in the third qroup.. Be in the smart group the group that is not effected by news bad or good that is not swayed by the idots on tv. Be yourself think for yourself..

Have you ever noticed you can go through months and months and not hear about any type of airline crash then all of a sudden you get a big one a major commercial airliner crashes many people dead. Then for some strange reason you hear about a lot of smaller planes crashing or having to do emergency landings or something like that.. Well again the media is not your friend.. They just want to feed you the poison that you crave..

Yes the commercial airline crash is a tragedy.  Yes people die.. The problem with the media is that they take that newsworthy event then milk it for more ratings

See the producers sit in there board rooms and say ok the people out there are thinking about airline crashes..Emotionally we know they will watch anything that has to do with that. So let’s go out and find any type of airline crash or diaster or emergency landing..

You know what people these smaller crashes and emergency  landings happen everyday. You don’t hear about them because the news media don’t think it will help ratings.. When a major crash happens all of a sudden magically you hear about them.. hmmmmm

What you are watching is not news. What you are watching is a show designed for you to watch.. They can put nothing but cat rescued from a tree stories if they wanted to.

Don’t watch the news to be entertained please!!!!

Politics is not suppose to be a sport. It is not suppose to be entertainment. It is not supposed to be for ratings and to make money for the networks. You stupid people with boring lives the same people that watch hurricane coverage buy into the hype that is the election. I bet the networks wish there was an election every year  instead of every four years.

First we had to endure months and  months of election coverage 24/7 for months  before November. Finally we elect a president then  we have to endure “countdown to inauguration” then we have to endure the “first 100 days” who thought of all this BS.. Is all this necessary? Elect the  dude and leave it alone.

We already elected the  guy.. For those people that make the Inauguration into some Super Bowl on steroids saying this is a big event for our country oh really? Why? Cause he is a African American? Well that  big event happened election night didn’t it.

Do we really have to spend tax payers money on a day long concert.  All this does is makes those celebrities and the media and the rich richer. All because you people will sit on your ass all  day buying  into the fact that you should sit on your ass all day cause if you don’t your not American..

The guy is already elected.. We don’t need a day long party. It is just a detail that needs  to be taken care of to swear him in. It could be down in a room in  ten minutes. We don’t need every star and band that ever existed to perform for us. It is all self serving crap. It is not noble at all. It is not because it’s important it’s not because it’s a big historical event. It is all about ego and money making and celebrity making BS..

I would rather  watch him in a room taking the  oath  for ten min. Then  all that other wasted resources.. If you watch more then the speech on inauguration day you are stupid. Also it’s just another president, in four years  nothing will change.. When are you people going to learn  that nothing changes until you the stupid masses want to change it. Politics is just like a drug it does nothing for you but make you feel good.

I can take the speech that will be made tomorrow and can already tell you about how “things will change”, “it’s time for this country to take a stand”, blah blah blah. It’s the same speech. It’s just like those infomercials that promise rock hard abs in ten days. It’s like all those fitness magazines, all those diets, all those promises of something new.. You will believe anything that gives you hope because you don’t want to face that fact that you won’t lose weight unless you quit putting crap in your mouth, and you won’t get what you want unless you do something about it and not wait for some president to give it to you. Do you know who gets  the life they want from those informercials and from politics? The people that produce those informercials the people that make that exercise crap. The people in politics, the media etc they are the ones getting what they want they are living off of making you think your going to get what you want but your not.. THEY ARE USING YOU!!!!
